About NYC Photographer Tim Gruber

As a photographer I believe the best pictures touch people in ways that only our hearts can understand. My objective as a photographer is to capture images that make you feel.

I recently finished shooting a documentary entitled Served Out: Aging and Dying Behind Bars that is currently in the production stage. Look for the film and photos late this summer. The project was most recently honored in the Communication Arts Photography Annual.

I'm a grad of the graduate program at Ohio University's School of Visual Communication. My photos and multimedia have been honored by the Communication Arts Photography Annual, The New York Photo Awards, Pictures of the Year International(POYi), The NPPA's Best of Photojournalism(BOP), The Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar and many more.
